My electronic repair prices start at around £60.
That’s for the more straightforward items such as turntables or simpler electronic repairs. It might be less if it can be sent to me as waiting for drop off and collections takes time.
In general I can’t repair an amplifier for that price as something like a failed output transistor will probably take out a number of the preceding transistors and resistors with it. That takes time to resolve.
The best thing is to contact me and ask for a repair quote giving me the model number and a description of the fault. I need the model number as I will have to look it up to see if it has a service manual with the circuit diagrams etc.
if it’s something I’ve repaired in the past I will know what sort of faults to expect which makes diagnostics quicker.
Please don’t just say ‘my hifi needs repairing’ as I’m not a mind reader!
