This article takes a look around an old Sanyo RD-4055 top loading cassette deck. The mechanical tape transport is really easy to get to in these old top loaders so I created a YouTube video showing how the tape transport works.

A faulty Rotel A14MKII needed to be repaired as it was wired up for a 110v mains supply and was connected to a 230v supply. That’s never a good idea as all the transformer output voltages will be double!
