Vestax PMC-06 Pro A mixer with a broken Monitor cross fade slider control. It looks like somebody had put the unit down heavily on one of its ends and broke the monitor cross fader slider control as it was all sloppy and bent.
The control, a potentiometer had become two parts as the metal restraint for the slider had become detached from the main body of the control.
This was fixed by removing the control from the PCB and pushing the metal clamping lugs back into place to hold it all together. It isn’t possible to effect a good repair with the control soldered into the PCB. If the mixer has had a really good bash the control will probably be broken beyond repair..
